Halloween..kind of

This year was kind of a bust as far as Halloween goes. Because it fell on a Sunday the kids didn't get to do the traditional trick or treating. We figured we would just go to our ward trunk or treat and call it good. Unfortunately Bree had a soccer game at the same time as the trunk or treat so we couldn't do that either. Josh didn't really care, he has never enjoyed Halloween. Bree however, was quite disappointed.

Fortunately, we had planned a Halloween party for activity days. So, Bree had one occasion to dress up. She insisted on being a zombie, and luckily it was a costume I could throw together in just a few minutes.
Dr. Pain (also thrown together at the last minute, good thing we have syringes around the house huh ;)


The party was fun with games, food and haunted house making (out of graham crackers). All the girls seemed to enjoy it. Grandma Soda was in town and even got to come to the festivities.
