talented (and messy) kids

We had art yesterday and the kids finished their sculptures by painting them. They turned out really cute and I think all of the kids had a good time even if it was a bit messy. Here are some pics of the final products. You can click on the pictures to see them up close.

There is also a picture of the kids in their art aprons they made a few weeks ago. Thank heavens for those aprons, the kids definitely needed them. We were missing a couple of kids who were out of town so the class is smaller than usual, which may have been a good thing with all the painting.

Here are upclose pictures of Breanna's and Joshua's sculptures. Bree's has a seal, starfish and a eel on it. Joshua's has a prehistoric sea creature (kind of like the Loch Ness monster), a manta ray, a sea turtle, a sea snake, and a submersible sea craft (the teal thing in the corner). Joshua definitely likes variety.
