The EVIL red bird

What do the Detroit Tigers and the Texas Rangers have in common? No, it's not that they can't win a world series (OK the Tigers have won before, but not lately), and it isn't that Jason loves both teams (though this is true).

The thing that they have in common is that the St. Louis Cardinals have beat them both in the World Series in the past few years.

The year the Tiger's lost (2006) Josh in his innocence, bought a cardinal for his Christmas ornament. Jason hated that ornament then and has hated it every year since.

This year when the Cardinals beat the Rangers, Jason threatened to string Josh's ornament by a noose to hang it on the tree. Josh wouldn't let him though.

BUT, as if she was rubbing salt into his wounds, Jason's grandma sent this Christmas card to us this year. I was in the other room when Jason opened the card. All I heard was, "OH GRANDMA!" in a rather gruff voice.

Funny huh!
