What a sight

Yesterday afternoon, I went outside to see if I could get some cool pictures of some navy Blue Angel jets that were practicing for a huge airshow this weekend. Although I was unsuccessful at capturing the jets, I noticed all these monarch butterflies flying everywhere. I remebered hearing on the news that they are making their annual migration to Mexico and are making their way through Texas right now. I was able to take a few pictures of them resting in a bush across the street. It really was quite a sight to see them all over the flowering bush.
