Monday's game was against the Tigers, so you can understand why we had to be to that game. It was a good game, fairly uneventful, the Tigers won. Although it had been raining all day and we were sitting under an eave and I, luckily, got a seat that had drips coming on it the whole game. I had to take a plastic poncho we brought (we were prepared) and put it on my lap before I got soaked. But hey that is just a minor inconvenience when it comes to watching the Tigers play.
Saturday we met a family that Jason knows from work (he works with the dad) and we had a nice dinner at the corner bakery and headed for the game. We got there about an hour and fifteen minutes early because we wanted free Rangers hats that they were giving to the first 2
0,000 people (I think). 
The start time of the game was 7:05 PM. We had listened to the national anthem (sung by the winner of the Nashville Star show on TV, who is from here in north Texas) and heard the starting line ups called out and were ready for the game to start. At precisely 7:05 we felt a few raindrops. In the next couple of minutes we were ushered to shelterd areas and had to wait out a 40 minute down pour. So, after the clean up and everything the game didn't start until 8:20. We had already been there for about 2 1/2 hours so the kids were none too thrilled about staying for much of the game. We made it to the bottom of the fourth inning and had to head out. I don't even know who won the game. It was fun however getting to know this new family and spend a memorable night at the Ballpark.
The kids got their hats signed by a couple of the Ranger's pitchers.
