Last Saturday was the kids piano recital. I always love hearing them practice Christmas songs. They hate it though. What kids love practicing for recitals? Bree played her piece flawlessly, we were proud of her.
Josh had to play two songs. His first was just a regular recital piece. The second was a hymn as a sing along song (which he forgot the intro so he had to start over). He chose "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" which is a very difficult Christmas hymns. It caused much emotional pain for poor Josh, but he did wonderfully.
