J's Christmas concert

Josh had his Christmas choir concert about a week ago so I wanted to share a few songs with you. His choir is really good. His teacher says they are on an 8th grade level rather than a 6th grade level. Because they are more advanced, she gave them some challenging pieces, none of which i had ever heard. The first song, Josh doesn't sing, but he plays the drum. You can see him concentrating pretty hard. Sorry you have to watch him sit there a while before you get to see him play, but enjoy the background music anyway, I did.

The second song is a madrigal, which is a song written in the early European style (Baroque etc), and they are apparently really difficult to sing because of the many parts to them. Sorry you might not enjoy the head shot in the video, but the guy kept moving into our video.
