This is Joshua's third year playing with Upwards and he actually really enjoys it. Every game the kids are awarded a star to iron on their shirts. Each star indicates how they did in the game such as best offense, best effort, best sportsmanship etc. After his first game, Joshua was awarded the most Christlike team member. The coach (who coached him last year too), said that Joshua was the most Christlike, nicest kid he'd ever met. He said he could give that award to Joshua every week. It was a nice
You can tell by the pictures that Joshua plays hard. I had a perfect picture of him making a basket but unfortunately a teammate ran right in front of the camera as I snapped the picture. Too bad.
Breanna is playing for the first time. She is on a team with 1st and 2nd graders. Since she is short for her age plus the very youngest, you can imagine how little she looks out there. The other girls on the team tower over her. She doesn't seem to let that bother her though. She plays hard and tries her best to get the ball. She really doesn't handle the ball much because she can't seem to get rebounds (a height thing again) and the older girls don't pass it much. She was able to get a couple of baskets the fir
Breanna is concentrating pretty hard in this picture to get a basket. She informed us yesterday that she wants a basketball party for her next birthday. We'll see how long that lasts.

cute pictures- basketball season in full swing makes for one more busy thing, but it is getting alot more fun to watch as they continue to grow!
Those pictures make me wish we had signed Cody up! We miss it...you're busy, but it's fun!
